How many feet do you need?
Each cross brace on the K9 platform requires support on both sides.

One foot per side, per cross brace
Example:
If your platform has 5 cross braces, you’ll need 10 feet for proper mounting.
This applies no matter which cargo rack accessories, roof rack adapters, or SUV roof rack accessories you plan to add later.
This isn’t upselling.

Feet vs. Legs — What’s the difference?
The K9 Roof Rack system uses different mounting components depending on your vehicle’s roof design.
K9 Roof Rack Feet are used on vehicles with gutter-less roofs.
These feet attach to the K9 Mounting Rail, which bolts directly to the roof.
Common vehicles using feet include:

On vehicles with traditional rain gutters, K9 Roof Rack Legs are used instead.
Legs sit directly in the gutter and support the platform from below.

K9 Roof Rack Feet sizing
K9 Roof Rack Feet are measured from the top of the mounting rail vertically to the top of the foot where the platform attaches.
Each size includes an adjustment range.
Eezi-Awn uses the middle of the adjustment range as the listed size.

K9 Roof Rack Legs sizing (for guttered vehicles)
K9 Roof Rack Legs are measured from the bottom of the leg that sits in the gutter to the top of the leg where the platform attaches.
Each leg size has approximately 15mm (0.5") of upward adjustment.
